ugh. this record is so beautiful. just so fucking beautiful. the whole thing is precision movement. an intricate fluttering of magic on my eardrums. like wind through leaves and branches, delicate but powerful at the same time. ugh, just why Amon? why you gotta create a world so weird and pretty that I gotta spend all this time sitting and absorbing it? picking a favorite is hard but Velvet Owl just makes my brain so dang happy. LORN's music is as fascinating as it is disturbing and brutal. The sound is purely evil. Listening to this on a (very) good stereo or good headphones IS an experience. LORN's crispy 24bit flacs just add "the" extra little punch. Love it, great artist. Marcs
